Hamlet under the summer sun

Watercolor. Every white patch is but the white of the paper. Therefore, it would be difficult to do this watercolor without previously sketching it. What is left is adding color.
To those who know the Ponants islands, it would be, once again, impossible to try identifying a particular place.This work is an archetype. It is a synthesis of impressions collected over the areas from the islands of Yeux to Arz.One can even spot the weathercock-Tuna, on Groix and Arz steeples.
This work is also nostalgic of the 60s and 70s, when tourism had not yet reached these isolated places whern cows could be encountered along the beach.
In the height of the summer, the small white hamlets have a taste of Spain.
